Full Time 9.00 - 5.30 with some flexibility - 5 weeks holiday to be taken in school holidays
 
Our client is a flourishing, forward thinking co-educational IAPS prep school with approximately 300 pupils who are prepared for a range of senior schools, both locally and nationally. A number of children win scholarships to their chosen senior schools, which include Abingdon School, Bradfield College, St Edward's Oxford, Pangbourne College, Downe House, Marlborough College, The Oratory School and Radley College.
 
They are seeking to appoint a practical, positive and energetic Head of Housekeeping to join their small and friendly team. The main duties will be to oversee the cleaning standards of the school and to ensure our learning environment is kept clean, clear and in accordance with COSHH and Health & Safety Regulations. The role will include cleaning and maintaining shared areas (inside and out). The role reports into the Domestic Manager.
 
The successful candidate will be reliable, consistent, hardworking and take pride in their work to maintain a safe learning and working environment. A high standard of cleaning and an eye for detail is essential. You must be able to meet the physical demands of the job. You will be expected to complete on-site Safeguarding and Health & Safety training and COSHH training.  
A sense of humour, along with a cheerful personality is likely to be an advantage.
