​ICT and Media Technician – Cranleigh, Surrey

Our client is a school for students (5-19) with moderate/severe learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and associated problems such as speech & language and other emotional and behavioral difficulties.

 They are looking for a confident and self-motivated ICT & Media Technician to support the network and infrastructure across their School & College.

 You will be approachable and have excellent communications skills as, working alongside their ICT Manager, you will be providing day to day hands on service support for almost 300 staff and 70 students. Their students have special needs and this role will be rewarding for someone with patience and empathy for differing levels of understanding.

 You must have a good working knowledge of Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10, email and office applications, Mac OS and iOS devices and Adobe suite. Knowledge of Windows Server 2016, Microsoft Exchange and current technology and trends such as VLE would be useful but not essential.

 Own transport is desirable. Lifting of some ICT requirement will be required. The role is 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday starting at 8am. Holiday must be taken during school holidays, with the exception of up to 5 days which may be taken during term time.
