Nursery Manager - Thatcham, Berkshire
Full-time, Permanent (Term Time and 51 Week a year applicants will be considered)

Our client is a Prep School for boys and girls near Thatcham and their Nursery is very much at the heart of the School. Children join from the age of 2 years and remain until the term following their 3rd birthday, at which time they move into their Reception Class. Children can remain at the school until the end of Year 8, and so the Nursery staff are able to follow their progress during their early education.
 
They are seeking a Nursery Manager and the successful applicant will hold, at least, a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years. In addition, you will need to have:
 
An Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage's welfare, learning and development requirements
An Understanding of child safety practices including paediatric first aid, safeguarding children and food hygiene
Leadership ability, including organisation, the ability to motivate others and effective decision-making
Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with staff and parents
Education: Minimum of GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
 
At least one year of Nursery Management is essential (please note that Room Leader experience will not suffice) and a very competitive salary plus benefits is offered.
