Occupational Therapist / Specialist Occupational Therapist - Chertsey, Surrey
£27,716.64 to £35,479.69 per annum dependent on experience (this includes an unconsolidated annual allowance)
Permanent contract, Full time (35 hours per week), 42 weeks per year (term time plus up to 3 weeks of work during school closure periods) with 10 weeks paid holiday.
Part time applications will also be considered.
 
Our client is an 'Outstanding' school in Surrey, rated as outstanding for eleven years and are part of a leading children's communications charity.  They are located between Woking and Chertsey in delightful grounds close to Runnymede which is an inspiring setting to work in. They are a multi-disciplinary team that includes Teachers, Learning Support Assistants, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists who all offer our pupils a fully integrated approach to their children's education, communication skills and overall health and well-being. The school also has an Assessment Centre, Residential Service and a Family Support Worker.
 
Child contact time is maximised so that their pupils achieve the best possible outcomes, through an holistic approach.  You will be school-based and with support from a Specialist Occupational Therapist, will assess for, plan and deliver individualised intervention programmes. You will work with children individually or in small groups in specialist treatment areas and within classroom-based sessions to enable their learning and meaningful engagement in school-based tasks.
