Recruitment Administrator (Advertising Lead) - Cranleigh, Surrey
37 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
Salary range: £21,483 - £23,612 pa - 25 days holiday plus statutory public holidays paid per year
 
Our client is a registered charitable trust comprising a special needs school, college, registered children's home and adult supported living houses. Their school and college students are age 5-19 with severe and complex learning disabilities, social communication and behavioural issues. Every member of their 280 staff plays a part in making a positive contribution to the lives of their students and tenants. Students may visit the office so compassion, patience and empathy for their needs is vital. If you are recruited, you will be required to complete Safeguarding and Team Teach positive behaviour support training as part of your induction before employment.
 
They have an opening for an experienced, enthusiastic and approachable recruitment administrator to join their busy HR team, taking the lead on advertising their roles, sourcing recruitment opportunities and ensuring safer recruitment practises are followed. You will be suited to this role if you are full of initiative, organised and work well to deadlines. You will also need excellent communication skills, be computer confident, have attention to detail and the confidence to deal with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
 
Reporting to the Director of HR, you will take the lead on all aspects of advertising vacancies, sourcing appropriate cost effective advertising channels, monitoring recruitment needs and providing updates to the senior leadership team. Experience of working in an advertising environment, dealing with external agencies and on-line recruitment channels is preferable. Alongside the Recruitment Administrator (Application Lead) you will be jointly responsible to ensure that candidates are recruited under safer recruitment guidelines and all paperwork and records are maintained in a timely manner. Hours of work during term time: 8.30am - 4:30pm each day of the week with a 4:00pm finish on Friday (with ½ hour unpaid break each day). Some flexibility is possible over the hours to be worked during the School holidays. This role is office based, but some home working can be discussed during the current pandemic.
