Salary: NJC Salary Scale 4 - Points 7 - 11 currently £20,444 - £22,129 per annum,
full time equivalent (£15,312 to £16,574 actual salary)
Hours of work: 32.5 hours a week term time plus 1 week, permanent
Required: September 2022
 
Our client is a co-educational, state boarding school located on the edge of the stunning Lake District World Heritage Site.  The landscape reflects the personality of their school - a historic, safe and beautiful location with countless opportunities for learning, adventure and fun.  They pride themselves on being one of only a few state boarding schools in the UK.  
 
They are looking to appoint an efficient and dedicated person to this permanent post. Working within a team of Cover Supervisors and reporting to the Cover Manager, you will supervise classes when a teacher is absent, assist with exam invigilation, undertake lunch duties and complete administrative tasks where appropriate. The post may be of interest to a graduate or somebody looking to gain classroom experience before becoming a teacher.
 
You will need to be well organised, self-confident, and professional in your outlook, with good communication skills and the ability to relate well with both students and staff; previous experience working with young people in desirable, but not essential.
