Our client operates a Specialist School for Children and Young People with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Asperger Syndrome and associated learning, communication and behavioural difficulties and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

They currently have a vacancy for a Speech & Language Therapist (Band 6). The Speech and Language Therapy service aims to enhance the communication skills and communicative environment of all children in HGS, in order to provide a firm foundation for social, emotional and educational development. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a Speech and Language Therapy service within HGS under the supervision of the specialist SLT. They will work as part of HGS team and in close liaison with our other MDT members. Interagency liaison with Education, will be required to promote and develop a collaborative approach in the management of our students.
